Collection: Surrealist

The Surrealist collection plays with the combination of the representative, the abstract, the unreal and the unconscious. According to the surrealists, art must free itself from the demands of logic and reason and go beyond everyday consciousness, seeking to express the world of the unconscious and dreams.

Surrealism is full of images of dreams, fantasies and daydreams. At the base of his creations is unconsciousness and the absence of logic. Surrealist artists had a great influence on the European avant-garde scene at the beginning of the 20th century. Founded in Paris in 1924, André Breton was the movement's main spokesperson and launched, that same year, its main manifesto – the Surrealist Manifesto.

Inspired by the surrealist works of Serge Lutens, Cecil Beaton and Salvador Dalí, the pieces feature creative, elegant and mainly enigmatic designs.
